About the Role

We’re seeking a confident and detail-driven Financial Accountant to support the financial health of a growing, multi-venue business.

This role plays a key part in delivering accurate reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting month-end and audit processes. You’ll work closely with the CFO and broader Finance team, while building strong relationships across our venues and operational teams.

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting functions, including reconciliations
• Support AR & AP functions, providing backup where required
• Assist with timely month-end close tasks across multiple entities
• Maintain general ledger integrity and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support quarterly and annual reporting, including EOFY deliverables
• Partner with senior finance leaders and CFO to deliver clear insights
• Support audit processes, ensuring accurate and audit-ready records
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with a proactive approach
• Work closely with venue leaders to strengthen financial understanding

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in financial accounting, ideally within an SME or multi-site environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and compliance
• Experience supporting month-end, reporting cycles, and annual audit processes
• Intermediate Excel skills and confidence across finance systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Confident communicator across finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of deliverables
• CPA / CA qualified or working towards (support available)
