About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-driven Payroll Officer to take ownership of end-to-end payroll across a growing workforce, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

You’ll work closely with Finance and People & Culture to support weekly payroll operations, resolve queries, and contribute to ongoing improvements across systems and processes.

Role Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing for all Anyday employees on a weekly pay cycle
• Manage payroll processing including Time & Attendance data,
• Ensure all payroll deadlines are met in a timely manner
• Escalate highly complex payroll matters, system issues, and policy interpretations to the Payroll Manager as required
• Interpret and apply relevant awards, including penalties, overtime, TOIL, and allowances
• Calculate Annualised Salary Reconciliations (ASRs) in accordance with award entitlements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of award changes and compliance requirements
• Identify discrepancies, errors, or anomalies and resolve them with the support of the broader Payroll Team

Skills & Experience

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processes, preferably in an Award-based industry
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, awards and legislation
• Familiarity with time and attendance tracking and payroll system integrations
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within the broader Payroll team
• Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Discreet and professional with sensitive information
