The Role

In preparation for the opening of The French Exit we are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager. You will support the Restaurant Manager in leading the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. Acting as shift lead when required, you will oversee floor operations, coach and develop the team, and ensure high standards of service and compliance. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with strong communication and organisational skills, eager to contribute to the culture and success of a new venue.

• Previous experience in leadership in premium or high-volume venues
• Ability to lead a team during service, maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, compliance, and service expectations
• Confidence in coaching, mentoring, and onboarding team members
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Understanding of RSA, WHS, and food safety requirements
